1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Addiction is a struggle that can, at times, seem impossible. But Jesus promises us freedom from the unrelenting grip of sin. He promises that when we look to Him for help, He will provide a way out when all seems hopeless. No temptation is impossible to beat, and we are not alone in the struggle. Rising past addiction isn't easy, but by grace, we can achieve victory after victory, one step at a time.
