Proverbs 18:10: "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe." Most of us have the amazing privilege of being safe in this crazy world. But there are still many people who live in fear, each and every day. Maybe natural disasters are threatening your home. Maybe your family living situation is violent. These things are incredibly difficult to endure. Wherever you are, though, know that God is protecting you in ways you cannot even imagine. This world may be dangerous, but we can rise knowing that through our bodies are in peril, our souls belong to Christ.

In (Rom 8:28). Paul understood that his present toils and dangers were not even comparable to the eternal glory that's coming someday (Rom 8:18). Do you think about those things when you are faced with danger? Be alert on Today! I'm not talking about hyper-vigilance here. Just pay attention to what is around you. Think of all the times you walk around in a daydream or preoccupied with your problems. On today keep a list of the (dangers) that God has protected you

This week, we'll be transitioning into the idea of rising in it. This idea involves the difficult truth that more often than not, there are things that we can't change.
