Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Change can be a hard thing to deal with, and often, there are many situations of change that we can't avoid. It could be a positive change like taking a new job or welcoming a new baby into the world. Or it could be negative, like losing a loved one or losing a job. Whatever the situation, we can rest in the fact that our God never changes. His love, His mercy, and His grace toward us stays the same â€" so by leaning confidently on Him, we can rise in the midst of this shifting world

Faith-In-Action:
It is better to initiate changes ourselves using free will than to let our life progress down a negative path until change dramatically affects us. When you are aware of the change, it is much more comfortable. The world isn't as intimidating as you might imagine and there are lots of things out there that are possible, but you have to explore them.
Your ability to Rise is affected by your ability to grasp change. If you are in the midst of change, rather than you altering that change, you are much more likely to feel like you are being yanked through life. Embrace change with an open and relaxed mind because you have one constant in your life. God is with you, and he knows where you are going and what you are setting out to achieve. The better you picture these changes, the more motivated you will be. Find new opportunities today to be brave and embrace change, do something different that you don't usually do.
