Romans 12:19: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Soar! In 66 days
Romans 12:19: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" Injustice is the tragic result of a fallen world. Many wicked people seem to prosper, even in their sinful actions. And the righteous often suffer the consequences. The ways of this world seem completely upside-down to those who know the ways of God. But no matter how unfair this world is, we must trust that one day, God will right every wrong. Instead of growing needlessly bitter, we must rise above injustice and fix our eyes upon the promise of restoration.
Take moment and write down what injustice you see in the world today.

Faith-In-Action:
There Is No Perfect Time to Speak Out Against Injustice. On today take that injustice to God in prayer. Then Speak out by sharing with somebody you know how you feel about that injustice. Many people probably won't be aware of the issue. Some people may know about it, but not see it in the same way you do. We must trust God will right every wrong.

This week, we'll be transitioning into the idea of rising in it. This idea involves the difficult truth that more often than not, there are things that we can't change. Sometimes, there may not be a way out. But that doesn't mean that we can't soar. In fact, our darkest days can even strengthen our faith in God. It is in these moments that we learn to place all our hope in Christ.

Last week we talked about what it truly means to "rise past" the things we face. We talked about how we must look beyond our present troubles and our past hurts in order to grow spiritually. Now we must dive deeper into how we can actually practice this in our own lives. After all, letting go of our burdens is far easier said than done. So how, then, should we approach them?
